We are a warm, welcoming community in which children and adults find friendship and support. We are a school born from a spirit and force of parents and teachers who believe in the Montessori principles and support a child/family-centered environment. We want our children to grow into autonomous, caring, responsible citizens, life-long learners and problem-solvers. Our school is a place where all are encouraged to ask questions, broaden their understanding of themselves, and the world around them.

The Boyd School is locally owned, operated and managed.  Tim Beckworth and MaryAnn Boyd are involved in the day-to day operations of the school.  We work in community with our staff and families to provide the highest quality in care and education. Our unique "all-inclusive" tuition structure ensures that you are not constantly tapped for additional expenses and fund raising during your child's enrollment.  Our tuition covers the cost of the program that you select. There are no additional fees for lunch, snacks, books, materials, or field trips.  The only "fund raising" we do at the school are for community service projects or special projects of the school. These are both completely voluntary.
