My Sister at the Zoo
By Alannah Rood
Westfields Lower Elementary Student
On Wednesday December 16th 2009 my sister Ashley Rood and her assistant
Kyle came to my school. They brought a Red Kangaroo names Boomer, a
porcupine named Mr. Quils, and a cockatoo (which is a type of bird) and her
name is Tootoo.
Tootoo was brought to the Reston Zoo by her original owner and her name
was never changed. Boomer is a kangaroo that Ashley and I hand raised.
Mr Quils is an African Crested Porcupine. He is about 2 years old is was \very
nice to everyone when he came.
